We’re now looking for a Head of Events & Client Experience to join us. At the core of this role is ownership of our birthday business – managing it end to end and driving its growth through proactive outreach and sharp commercial thinking. Alongside this, you’ll be the first point of contact for our wider client base – answering enquiries, managing bookings, and ensuring every interaction reflects the high standards our families expect.

You will likely have:

• 2–4 years’ experience in a client-facing role such as events, hospitality, private members’ clubs, luxury retail, concierge, or premium childcare, where standards are non-negotiable
• A natural sales instinct, with the confidence to pick up the phone, follow up on warm leads, and convert interest into revenue without ever feeling pushy
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the judgement to match tone to audience (a quick reassuring reply to a stressed parent reads very differently from a pitch to a members’ club partner)
• Strong organisational skills and a sharp eye for detail, with the ability to juggle dozens of bookings, payments, and moving parts without anything slipping
• Confidence with numbers and systems; experience with Xero, a CRM, or booking platforms is a plus, but a willingness to learn quickly matters more
• A proactive, ownership mindset, spotting opportunities, following through without being chased, and bringing solutions rather than problems
• Genuine warmth with children and families, and an affinity for the TARKA brand and the discerning clientele we serve
• A calm head under pressure, because Saturday morning birthday logistics, a last-minute reschedule, and a new enquiry can all land at once

Hybrid Lead Instructor Role – London

Summary

We are looking for an experienced, confident Lead Instructor to join TARKA on a contracted PAYE basis.

This hybrid role offers regular monthly work with paid holiday and pension, while still allowing flexibility to pick up additional shifts when available.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who wants a clear, consistent role with a premium children’s brand, but who doesn’t want (or can’t commit to) a full Monday–Friday schedule. It’s especially well suited to candidates who are studying, building a portfolio career, returning to work, or looking to develop experience in education, coaching and child development within an ambitious, expanding company.

• Strong experience delivering high-quality sessions as a Lead Instructor

• Confident running sessions independently and supporting newer instructors on shift

• Comfortable working weekends as part of a rotating schedule (minimum 2 weekend shifts per month)
